How do we remove syringoma in the clinic?

Syringoma are pesky little bumps near the lower eyelid that are not infectious, but progressively increase in number. If we review these bumps under the microscope, one will find that these bumps go way deep down into the skin. That is why treatment of these lesions should also reach deep into the skin.

We use two types of machines to remove syringoma in our clinic: the traditional electrocautery machine and the newer CO2 laser. Both treatments are done under our double anesthesia method, because the skin near the eyes can be really sensitive to pain!

Anyway, both machines do the job well. However, recently, more patient prefer our CO2 laser because the wounds it creates are smaller, have less collateral damage, heals faster and most of all, less painful!!!

What’s the Difference: Solar Lentigo vs Melasma?

Not all pigmentations on the face is melasma or “pekas.” Watch this short video to know the difference between melasma and solar lentigo.

Solar lentigo is easier to treat. One or two laser session can remove it. However, it comes back… and you can laser it off again!

Melasma, on the other hand, is quite harder to treat. Aside from sun exposure, other genetic and hormonal factors can cause melasma. Diligent sun protection and home medications are key to melasma improvement. There are also oral medications that you can take to improve the pigmentation, under your doctor’s supervision, of course. In the clinic, we can treat melasma with chemical, microneedling with exosomes and laser too!!!

Say Goodbye to Double Chin!

There are some parts of our body that need a little help when we are trying to slim down. Sometimes, no matter how hard we diet or exercise, there are still pockets of fat that just won’t go away.

Fortunately, we can help flatten those pockets of fat in two steps. First, inject a fat melting solution to the area to dissolve the fat. Second, do fractional radiofrequency to tighten the skin.

Because these two procedures address 2 different things, yet work synergistically together, we can achieve beautiful results safer and faster.

Watch this short video how this happens.

Btw, this procedure can be done on other parts of the body! Ask us how or head over to http://www.dermalogique.blog/services to know more!
